Admission requirement for 2019 TCAS

1st round: Portfolio

Application period: 1-15 December, 2018

1. The applicant must have earned a Mathayom 6 Secondary Education Diploma approved by the Ministry of Education of Thailand with cumulative GPA at least 3.00.  Applicants who graduated from international school in Thailand or abroad must have finished Grade 12 or equivalence, e.g., GED, IGCSE, GCSE, SAT II, NEW GED, etc.

2.  The program accepts applicant from any type of curriculum.  However, applicant must have taken Chemistry, Physics and Math courses in high school.

3.  Applicant is recommended to have the English proficiency requirement by achieving a minimum score of one of the following English proficiency exams

(if applicable):

3.1 IELTS Academic Test at least 5

3.2 TOEFL paper-based (TOEFL-ITP) at least 500

3.3 TOEFL computer-based (TOEFL-CBT) at least 173

3.4 TOEFL internet-based (TOEFL-IBT) at least 61

3.5 SAT 1 at least 1100

3.6 MU-ELT at least 84

3.7 CAE at least 52

3.8 TOEIC at least 600

3.9 Or other equivalent English proficiency tests

Please note that applicant who cannot fulfill the English proficiency requirement is still able to apply.  However, all students have to fulfill that prior to graduate according to the Mahidol University Regulation.
